Ape Ryder Warranty Information:

Battery Warranty:

  • Ape Ryder offers a twelve (12) month warranty for our electric bike batteries from the date of purchase by the original owner.
  • The battery is warranted to maintain 75% or higher capacity for at least twelve months, this warranty also provides coverage against manufacturing defects.

Manufacturing Defects Warranty:

  • A twenty-four (24) month warranty, starting from the date of delivery to the original owner, covers all manufacturing defects. (Including Motor & Frame)
  • Excludes damage from power surges, water damage, improper maintenance, or normal wear and tear on mechanical parts like tires, tubes, rims, spokes, brake pads, cables, chain, wheels, grips, suspension, and saddle.

Terms and Conditions of Warranty:

  1. The Warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original owner only.
  2. It becomes effective from the date of delivery and lasts for the specified warranty period.
  3. Void if care instructions in the owner’s manual are not followed.
  4. Not applicable for rental or commercial use.
  5. Exclusive to systems and components provided by Ape Ryder.
  6. Use of unauthorized parts will void the warranty.
  7. Photo and/or video may be required for warranty inspection.
  8. If shipped internationally, parts will only be sent to the country of the original shipment.
  9. Covers defective materials and manufacturing defects; repairs or replaces components at Ape Ryder's discretion.
  10. Repair work does not extend or restart the warranty period. Maximum liability is limited to the purchase price.

 

Claims for Shipping Damage and/or Missing Parts:

 

Inspect your product(s) immediately for damage or missing parts. Note any issues on the Bill of Lading before signing. Report damage claims within 10 days of delivery to sales@aperyder.co.uk for instructions on return/replacement.

No agent, employee, dealer, representative, or reseller is authorized to modify or extend this Limited Warranty on behalf of Ape Ryder regarding the Products or this Limited Warranty.

 

Exclusions – Items Not Covered Under Warranty: 

 

             1. External Influences:

  • Damage caused by falling rocks, collision, accidents, and external events with immediate mechanical impact power.

             2. Replacement Parts:

  • Warranty on replaced bike parts ceases at the expiration of the bike warranty.

             3. Intentional Acts and Environmental Factors:

  • Purposeful and/or malevolent acts, theft, and natural hazard events. Inappropriate use, exposure to liquids, chemicals, extreme temperatures, wetness, and humidity. Damages to the battery due to non-compliance with outlined special instructions.

             4. Routine Maintenance and Repair Work:

  • Test, maintenance, repair, and replacement work due to normal use.

             5. Product Identification and Modification:

  • Changes to the model, serial, or product number. Broken or manipulated seals and/or serial number decals on the battery housing.

             6. Battery Usage:

  • Use of the battery in systems not approved for use with this specific product. Operation with batteries other than those designed for the Ape Ryder system.

             7. Alteration and Tampering:

  • Opening, altering, or repainting Ape Ryder parts. Modification or tampering with firmware.

             8. Change of Ownership:

  • If the product is sold, gifted, or rented.

This comprehensive list ensures clarity regarding what falls outside the warranty coverage, allowing you to make the most informed decisions regarding warranty claims.

RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS

CANCELLATION & RETURNS POLICY

 

FOR BIKES:

 

              1. Order Cancellation Before Shipping:

  • Orders canceled before shipping are eligible for a 100% refund of the total order price.

              2. Refund Exclusions:

  • The refund excludes original shipping costs.

              3. Return Within 14 Days:

  • If shipped, you have the right to return your bike within 14 days after delivery.
  • The bike must be packed in the original box with the original protection material.
  • The bike should be free from dirt and dust; while a test ride is allowed, usage marks, damage, or indications of use may be deducted from the refund.

              4. Time Limit for Returns:

  • Returns are not accepted after 14 days from the delivery date.

              5. Return of Used Items:

  • Returns on used items are not accepted unless covered by our limited warranty.

              6. Approval Requirement:

  • The buyer must obtain written approval from an Ape Ryder customer service agent before initiating a return. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

              7. Packaging Documentation:

  • Photograph and document the packaging before returning your bike. A label will be provided when the return is approved.

              8. Return Shipping Costs:

  • The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Alternatively, the buyer may request Ape Ryder to cover return shipping, but initial shipping fees won't be refunded.

              9. Inspection Process:

  • Once received, the Ape Ryder team will inspect the returned item.

              10. Refund Processing:

  • Refunds may take up to 10 working days after being issued.

FOR NON-BIKE ITEMS:

 

              1. Order Cancellation Before Shipping:

              5. Packaging Documentation:

  • Photograph and document the packaging before returning your item. A label will be provided when the return is approved.

              6. Item Condition:

  • Items returned with dirt or debris will be considered final sale and non-returnable.
  • Ensure items are unworn, unwashed, with intact tags (when applicable), and undamaged.

              7. Return Shipping Costs:

  • The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Alternatively, the buyer may request Ape Ryder to provide a return label, but initial shipping fees won't be refunded.

              8. Inspection Process:

  • Once received, the Ape Ryder team will inspect the returned item.
